Website Review and Suggestions

ahhhhh at lasssst! Its took about 4 or 5 months just due to how busy Ive been over the summer, plus I kept changing everything until it was just how I liked it.

There's still a couple of really slight hiccups in there, but there soon to be sorted out. Also, I haven't uploaded all of my work onto it just yet as it is still being collated!

dude this layout is really nice i like the bright colors and the banner is really really well done, it was well worth the 4 to 5 months of work on it well done i give it 10/10

Besides the issues I emailed you about:

I would add a favicon
Check your metatags - they scored low.
It took awhile to load on my end. I ended up converting my own site to php, then gzipped it.

Shophilia: I'll get to work on adding them, does a favicon help with SEO? Also, what is the actual point in metatags? As I've heard there pretty much ignored by search engines these days?

I'm pretty sure favicons don't help with SEO, but it's a credibility issue. I've read that if your site does not have one that it's worthless. I think it helps to create a brand, since people can see them in bookmarks, tabs and browser bars. I've come to rely on them to find what I need in my favorites. I think subconsciously people are use to seeing them and when it's not there they may have a sense that something is off. It's easy to do, so why not make the extra effort.

Metatags: I read that google does not use them, but yahoo and others rely on it. I know you can't believe everything that you read, and I am a newbie at this. I'm doing mine, they're almost complete. (I actually HATE this part for some reason. I enjoyed the WHOLE process, except for this part.)

This is really great site. Very nice layout, colors and flash in the background. You do great work. The logo is the only thing thats a little off but I can see why you made it like that. Keep up the good work.
