Website Review and Suggestions

webmasters Social Club is a social network for webmasters and Internet marketers. It is 90% finished and is open for new members. The plan is to make a one-stop webmaster network with everything we need. It is free. Next will be a free or cheap auction. I plan to make it into a HUGE!!! webmasters resource. Please take it for a test drive so I can fix all the problems. Thank you in advance.

I like the look of the template, but what is going to make your site stand out among the hundreds of other Web Designer forums and market places? I do agree that Joomla was your best option for software backend. You can do a lot with it. What components did you incorporate with it?

Thanks for the feedback. the plugins are jobline,joomap,php pages,CB and a host of plugins for it, polls and more i cant remember right now. Like i said above this is just the start. I plan to put everything webmasters use in one place not just a forum and a auction but everything I have people working on 3 different scripts right now that will make WSC a one of a kind web site.

I like your site, it does seem like a template , however you made it look nice. I would change your main logo, i dont really like it IMHO.

Thanks Wood. I like your sites too the bipolar forum is a great idea I will make my girl join she is super BP but I love her.

I think it looks pretty good. That's Joomla right?

First thing that caught my eyes was that rounded top on the "Home" button at the top left (it changes depending on what section you're in). I don't think it fits in and you can just make it white without the top rounded part.

Two, if you have Photoshop or have money to pay someone I would recommend you get someone to do a new logo.

I like the forum. It's nice and simple.

When you go to sections like the forum that banner ad stays the same, so you get a bunch of unused white space to the right of it. Maybe change the banner to a longer one for sections that are one column and not two.

In the News section I don't think you need that image of a piece of paper with scribbles on it.

That is all I have to say. I'm new to all this to so I'm not an expert. If it's all fine with you then keep it the way it is.

Thanks for the review. personally I like the navi tab at the top. The logo Im not sure about yet I am working on a lot of other things right now I will get to it next week.
The banner is not going to be there for long that whole section will be replaced with a search tool kind of like yahoo. I feel the same about the image in the news section.
I have a lot of work to do on this site I have huge plans for this site. It will take me some time to make it what i want but I needed to get it up and running for link promotion.

You might consider revising your logo and header portion of the site. It just doesn't stand out and doesn't seem as professional as the rest of the layout?

I think the site really needs a clear focal point which will make it unique from the other portals. Not sure if you already have ideas on this. The layout of the site is fine, though.

Reallylight the site well be made a massive webmasters resource. I have scripts being coded that will make WSC very unique It will take time for it to become what i want it to be. Thanks for the review.
