Website Review and Suggestions

Huntsville Voice is a local community website where users can view news, sports, opinions, real estate, classifieds, event calendars, etc. all in one convenient place. Huntsville, Texas is a thriving community and this website serves as the one-stop-shop for community members.

Let me know what you think about the design, layout, module placement, etc. It is built using Joomla 1.5 with a customized RocketTheme template.

It just looks like to took a template and threw "Huntsville Voice" on it.

Just looking at the front page doesn't make it look too appealing. I don't see any dates on the site except today's date, so you might have put these articles on the site a year ago but have a thing that just posts today's date.

Just make it more your own, less white space, and make it look more up to date.

That is a very nice skin but I am not sure how unique it is? Maybe it would be a good idea to invest in custom skin before populating with content.

The template is ok, but could use a bit more personality.

in link above I would wrap the text around image to eliminate extra white space.

I would implement url rewrites for seo (noticed problem in store)

It's a good looking site - Nice design and pretty easy to navigate. While I know it's a local news site -with all that is going on in the world on category should be "National news" I know you have national stories but it need to be a category with BOLD
