We recieved a message today from our contract form saying this:

Your website is very spamming... Just a heads up.. You are being watched by SEO folks.. Keep it clean.

This is in reference to our tile contractor website.

Can anyone explain how our website could be spamming?

I just took a very quick look, but I don't see anything obvious that says spam. I didn't look through your link profile in depth, but a cursory look didn't shout anything at me.

It could just be a competitor trying to scare you. It's a strange message to get though since someone who'd a competitor typically wouldn't want to alert you that they were paying attention and someone who wasn't a competitor should really have better things to do with their time.

Maybe your spamming on your email account? Don't send advertisements to people without them joining your mailing list, that is of course, if you provide one. Not saying you are, but that's what they might have meant.

The only emails we send out are confirmations of scheduled estimates.

I just wonder which "SEO folks" the person is referring to that watch our site.

Must be the ones that inandate us with phone calls offering monthly plans that get us to the top of SERPs which we already rank for anyhow.

Why pay for something that is already achieved?

there reply is usually: "well that's not guaranteed to last"

to which I usually ask them if they can "guarantee" to keep a site ranked in top 3 organically

Looks fine to me. No pop-ups, ads, nothing. Must be someone out to scare you. Ignore it.
