The idea is good and the fact that it works.

Not much to say on the design as their isn't much in the way of design very basic.

FlashGates is a free online bookmark manager which permit its members to create their own HomePage. On FlashGates.com you build your own page with links to your must visited websites and set it as homepage on all the browsers. The best part is that FlashGates it's a FREE service.

Unfortunately the idea is great, but I have a few active members only. Any idea about how I can improve it to make it more attractive?

Any suggestion is welcome.

Hi there,
to be honest, the reason you haven't got an active member community is mainly due to your design, it's a little old fashioned.

Additionally, I don't believe the service is offering anything generally unique, google already have a good personal homepage service. It's just basically an online version of your bookmarks tool bar, except you need to visit a page and login to get them?

The site could use a bit of polish but it isn't bad. You might try a "web 2.0 color scheme." I would lose the animated banner "ad" and make the description text bigger and simpler. Look at other sites that offer online services like http://www.carbonite.com/ and see how they present information.

I would also style the forms and add some padding on the footer so you have some whitespace and can see the lower curved edge better.

I like the concept but the design does not look professional, you should get a more professional template for the site.

I had to change the site. Now it's no more a bookmark manager. It's only a games website.
