i like the stock photo. matches the website perfectly.
i would stay away from times font, in the navigation and elsewhere. since it's the font by default on almost all browsers, it shows you did not change/choose the font (even if you intended that font) and that gives the impression that the site's amateurish.
you also have font inconsistencies between the different pages. verdana and garamond?
i feel you need more padding at the top of your main content section.
overall, the site looks a bit plain. maybe do something with the space at the upper right corner and maybe a gradient or pattern in the background.
