I have recently started a new site for open source flash samples. I think I have the content I need but am unsure about the design. I was wondering what other people thought of the website

Great idea for a site and it seems to all work, which is good!

The site seems a little empty of other stuff you expect to see on a site, about us, news, things down the site, more on the main menu.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. The only negative things said about the site is it is a bit too bare. If so what do you think it is that I need to add?
I am currently redesigning the preview pages so don't worry about these (they look horrible at the moment)

very well thought out website, I was actually looking for a good flash tutorials website for a few of the things that you actually provide, I like the design, not too cluttered, neat & tidy. That's very understated these days.

I'm bookmarking this one though!

Its a nice website I must admit. It has a clear and clean design which is easy to navigate and looks good aswell. I like your content

It looks good. It's a nice clean design. However, I'd suggest adding tags and/or categories to your flash scripts, otherwise it'll be almost unmanageable for you and unusable to users. You also have a typo in your title: smaples should be samples.

I like the ability to get the Flash samples but when I first get to the page, I don't really know if these are free or for pay, what other pages are in the site, what the intent of the site is for. Good concept but you may want to communicate exactly what the site is for. ie. Dummy proof it ...

Fair comment I agree that it needs dummy proofing but to clarify it is completely free it is open source (there is a link to the creative commons license at the bottom of the page http://xuroq.co.uk)

Good, but you need to remember that if your only showing samples on your site it may be missing something big, if you plan on making some money off it...Even though I don't like using flash, a tutorial section would be good, even if you didn't create those flash scripts yourself. Add some free flash scripts with tutorials on how they are made, but don't use what's already on the net. Be creative.
