My site - take a look, tell me what you think.
Two things:
1. I know the quote link doesn't work. Thats next on my list.
2. I know the right column doesn't work right in IE, thats also on my list.
Thanks in advance!

the "cool" "sucks" idea is fantastic! first time seeing it.
the background needs to change. diagonal lines are fine, however, they shouldn't be as thick as yours. it takes away too much from your website, imo. i would also see if a solid color background could be used for your main content, rather than transparent. i'm never a fan of white text of black bg as it contrasts too much and the words gets burned into my eyes.
i would try to do something a little more special regarding your header and navigation bar. right now, they're just simple gradients.
i would also add in a splash of color to your site to make it pop from the grey shade you have going on.

Thanks. Right now its pretty limited but at some point I might be able to use it as an auditing tool for clients on dev sites. Not there yet but I wanted to try it out.
I'm going to work on the top, maybe I can get a login up there or something like that and I'll see what I can do about the background.

You definitely need to find a different background. I think a simple solid color would do good.
The font is way too large, try reducing it down a little. Also on the navigation menu, have a mouse over color so people know what link they are actually hovering over.

Honestly? It feels incomplete. As if you just put navigation in with a badly utilized background image and called it a day. You have to think about what your clients want. The font is way too large for body text. Go for 12px (but not smaller than that! I dunno why people think that's readable.) As well, you could work on the header, a lot, as your "brand" isn't established. Why not create a logo that utilizes your name? Perhaps with an oak leaf or an entire oak tree icon?
I know that's kind of harsh, but putting together a solid portfolio is a must if you want to do professional design.

I think your background is too contrast, you could make the diagonal angle bigger, like 60 degrees, and wider background line. maybe you can use another color for header like orang, green. and yes, your font is too big, maybe you can overlay the header menu's font with image styling font

I like the idea of the cool and sucks thing, but the whats this? is all cramped. There is no color in your website, excite it up!
If you want people to look at your profile, your website must be interesting in the first place. The big text ,also, looks unprofessional

1. Uncreative navigation.
2. Background makes text difficult to read. Try a sold bg color where the text is and leave diag. stripes on sides.
3. The header lacks something.
4. The cool and sucks thing is interesting, but not something that will make your firm look professional. Try a smaller text with words like "Like" and "Don't Like" and ask your visitors to place them. Try to make it submit somehow without them having to do a screenshot.
5. Smaller fonts.
6. Proper English.

Hello,
I'm not a fan of the website. The text is way to large for my liking. And I also feel the line pattern background is an over done web designing / development element. It plays off your text making reading impossible to do.

Yeah, I'm getting the PHP errors as well. Let me know when the site is back up, I'd like to check it out.
