Website Review and Suggestions

Would love to receive some input on my first website http://www.dogbarkings.com. It is a dog enthusiast website, still has a fair bit of content to be added but some first impressions would be much appreciated. For a clear example of how the breed pages will look check out the Labrador Retriever page. Thanks for any help.

First impression, I like it. Not sure why it's certainly not as slick as some sites but seems to have more emphasis on content than style and fancy design.

I think the ads are too cluttered maybe try spreading them around the page.
A little more of the blue used in the heading could be spread around the rest of the page. Like you have used with the navigation boxes on the left.

I think the best asset your site has is the content as if you offer the same for each breed it will be a useful site.

It looks really nice. Lots of cool dog breed info too!

I agree that having a little more blue in the design would be nice. Possibly even using it as a border/background color.

The only other suggestion I have is possibly making the last four headers on the front page the same size as the first two (Welcome, and Dog Breeds). Also, I would be sure to be consistent with capitalization of the headers.

I love the breed pages. Overall, it is an awesome first website!

I like it too. I love dogs... One thing you could try to see how it looks.. Maybe change the back ground in to a darker color. This may make the center stand out a bit more. Other than that, very very nice indeed.
