Website Review and Suggestions

Just a little something that I put together as I understand alot of people would like a 'central location' to get all there smileys without the fuss of spyware and other junk that usually comes with trying to get a few good smiles...

First and for most: Yes I did smile.
I do actually like the site and that is some assortment of smiles you have collected there.

I would make one comment IMHO when you click on a smile it opens a new window (fullscreen) and then resizes. That resizing down looks kinda awkward I would open the new window with a default size of say 200x200 and then resize from there. Or another option would be to show a div when the smile is clicked, that way you aren't opening a new window, but the idea would have to be tested as it might cause slow page load times to include the extra hidden content.

All in all I am a generous person and would give the site about a 7.8.

Must admit $1 seems a lot. I sure you can get them for free all over the place. Also 110mb hosting makes it really hard to get good ranking in the search engines. However if you paid for hosting it would cost you a whole load of smileys.

Thats a lot of smiley's you have there. The price is a little over-board, but to admit. I wouldn't pay for a smiley anywhere. There are tons of places to get them for free.

I'm digging the idea, but I think the color scheme is a bit awkward. It certainly clashes, but I'd go for a more balanced style.

I got hooked on your site and spent so long looking at your content I nearly forgot why I was there in the first place.

As has been said before I'm not so sure about charging, but good luck anyway, you sure brightened my day.

I think you should write few words about smile as well. Like what is smile all about and all. I noticed this thing when I was using yahoo messenger and this one really help to the user.

The design is a little too basic for me and the colours a little basic. You have a great collection and using javascript and a div to display a close up of the smiley is a little more user friendly instead of opening a new window. Categories would also be nice and as browsing all the smileys at the minute could be a bit daunting.
