for BAMS - i feel you almost have two logos. stick with one main identity and the other the slogan. your content seems to be floating around. though structured, i would maybe use some form of containment, such as lines/borders to separate them. get rid of times new roman. you have a weird bar above the weather module. regarding pictures, i always believe the use of pictures should enhance the site and also be integrated somehow into the design. the picture of the plane and remote control seems just randomly stuck there, even though they share the same theme as the site. they serve no purpose except to take up space. i would also use a darker background to make your site pop more.
for CBS - a lot of graphical elements are poorly done, particularly the rounded corners of images and your site. for example, the rounded corners at the bottom of your site. also, the little right arrows for your links seems a bit off with white dots around them. again, get rid of times new roman. make your main slogan/catch phrase larger and more noticible - maybe also move it to somewhere that'll catch more attention. i would develop a more customized brand/logo. also, not sure why there are two navigations, top and left. stick with one or the other.
