Hey, just trying to get an idea on what other people think about my website. It's been up for a pretty good amount of time now, but I am still going on and seeing what everyone thinks on my free time.

www.knrdesigns.com

I know at times the text is a little harder to read, but any other colors looks really bad on that shade of red, and if it's too big then it just looks odd.

I also think I should add some roll over effects to my navbar, but that will have to wait until I get a little more free time.

So let me know what you guys think.

Nice layout. Just noticed you are using Calibri as your main font. I don't think that everyone has this font. And as you said, the text is bit hard to read. Other than that, looks good to me

I like the top menu. I like the design in general. I like the colors and the graphics. I love the close-up windows to see your projects.

I would however change the font and also the copyright info maybe on a different background as you can't read it well right now. Some of the colors in the forum nede to be changed (too dark on dark).

PS: looks good on Chrome with wide screen on large resolution.

Great design, original look. But the background is horrible, far too busy

Hey guys thanks for all your comments, even though my reply is a bit late.

But I have made some huge updates, and I thought you guys should take a look at the big updates, as I fixed some problems that you guys mentioned.

I think it's a pretty creative design. I can't say I like the red bar that stretches throughout the blog. I just don't like how there's black in the middle surrounded by red.

Pretty good design overall, good work.

Yes, as a newbie I would say it is a nice edgy design.
But your English is very bad - especially in the large red areas of text. This would put me off using you, but maybe not everyone.
Also it does not say where you are based ? USA, England, Russia ? would this be helpful to prospective clients.

Striking design but your opening paragraph is far too long with too many commas. Like Digmen pointed out, it might give people the idea that you haven't mastered the english language which could be a deal-killer.

speaking about informational architecture I can advise to add portfolio pages instead of direct links to the recent projects on your homepage.

some troubles touch too much free places alongside your content. I suppose you need to distribute your content into more blockes.

I like your web design. It's pretty clean. As you mentioned, the text is a little hard to read on red background though.

Top design and I you've just won yourself some work as I'll be knocking on your door for my next project. Content I do well - graphics I do not, I am always on the look out for specialists for my web design business. I kinda like project manage my clients web design and sub everything out, as no one is an expert in everything or those that claim to be are only expert at lying.
Only comment on site design is that the red background is a little bit loud on the eyes - that said can't think of what I'd change it to!
Page loads fast which is great for a graphics site (For note I do adsense site reviews for people and one client had huge graphics on his site, he had great content and 8,000!!! subscribers but was only making $3 per day. I ran a speed checker for him and noticed the front page was taking 3+mins to load on broadband, he thus change the image size/quality, the page then loaded in less than 10 secs AND (TADA!!!) his adsense earnings went from $3 to over $30 per day within 24 hours.....
Full adsense site reviews available for $50 should anyone be interested PM me.
Tops site mate.
Cheers
Dickie Boy

Hey, nice site! I was looking at it and the red should change just a little. I think the red is fine but maybe a different shade?

I really like the menu and the graphics above the menu. All in all nice work!
