Website Review and Suggestions

I would appreciate a review of my site. I just had a new theme done for the homepage and this is what I am looking at getting reviewed right now. I know the gallery needs work but I just do not have the skills right now to do it or have the money to have it done. I am hoping to have the forum and gallery worked on once I have the blog design just right so that I can then have the design of the gallery and forum closely follow the blog.

I have gotten comments from people about the orange font but no one seems to have any suggestions on what to change it to that would go with the rest of the site. I am trying to use the colors that the main logo uses.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have been working on the site as a whole for two years now, it is time I got it right.

Cute blog bits, but I would have provided a little more contrast than the dim yellow against the gray. Brings up the adsense, but pales away the text. The rbaided leather kind of takes prominence, maybe your logo needs to be more the first thing people concentrate on. The open road image is blurry, and the RSS icon needs to be much much less prominent.

Thanks for the replies so far.
I will be working on the logo. Hopefully will have something before the first of the year.
As far as text colors go I am not sure white would look right and have enough contrast. I have changed the background color to a darker grey. Does that make it better?
I will take a look at the icon and see what would make it better.

but I would use lighter gray color in the background
