Think of your index page as your store front. What people see here determine whether they like the site/service, or they don't.
First, the image beside the logo looks out of place, and has really no relevance to your site.
Your colour scheme is abit off to me too. I like the colour of the logo, but it doesn't match with the pinky beige design.
I'd work with the general layout and design of your site, as well as the colours. Suggestion: A fresh look. Vibrant blue and greens. Pick two colours that work well together.
