I'm sorry if I sound way too negative, but then, you put websites up here to be critiqued, right?
Website is bad because:
1) You should get rid of the background image of the content. It looks far too busy. and instead of it, replace it with a sort of off-white color, or a light gray. And through out the website, when you click on things, lots of different aspects of the design change. It is very disorienting and is not good. You should like to an external css file so they can all be consistent.
2) The font. It should be smaller, it should not be times new roman.
3) The links. (take a look at reason 2) They SHOULD NOT get bigger when you mouse over them. It's a very bad design choice and it completely disrupts the website, and there should not be a background color on them either.
4) Get rid of unnecessary content and distracting elements. For example:

What is that weird shiny thing and those blue lines? Take them out. One mistake that a lot of beginning web designers make is putting unnecessary content that they think is cool. What is that weird-gif-color-thing at the bottom of the page? It is very visually distracting and ugly. Take it out.
And what's this??

It's ugly and distracting as well. Take it out.
5) Ugly design content. You should always stay away from borders. whatever you do. Take that border that is around the main content and the sidebar out. It is ugly and it does not match.
Sorry. Nothing personal, you know. I really am negative aren't I? If I see anything more, I'll tell you.
Hope it helps!
