Website Review and Suggestions

Guys,

I have just been reading up on some new tips for Google seo in 2009. And it looks like videos are going to be the next thing for attracting visitors and getting better indexing by Google. So I have put a few more vids on the site to see how it goes.

Could you take a look at our Corporate Event website homepage and let me know if it takes too long to load as im not sure if I have over done it with the vids!

Loads just fine for me. Not slow at all. If you are worried about overdoing the amount of videos on the home page you could always make a video section.

There is A LOT of info on the homepage.

It's a little slow. I mean, I've seen worse... but, that is a decent amount to load for folks, especially those without really fast connections.

Plus, I think, if you have to scroll south a while on any given page to see all the content... it's time to at least consider alternatives.

This is probably doable, but I'd think about breaking those sections off into their own page.

overall, it loaded fine and i'm using DSL. it wasn't instantaneous, but not too bad. don't worry about it.

Thanks for that, I think I will eave it as it is.
I have taken a bit of info off the bottom of the oage but the main reason I had it all on there was to get people reading a bit more and for search engines to pick up on the keywords in the body text.

It was a little slow for me but wasn't anything that I would get angry over if I found your site while surfing. However, it seems that some videos are set to auto-play when a visitor arrives and I don't really like that because if I want to watch a video I will press play. Maybe it's just me but I don't like having videos start playing when I show up to a site. Other then that, great site.

You have some problems with marking menu tabs. I press different menu tabs and somtimes they are marked by white color and sometimes no.

Yeah reference the menu marking - I keep forgeting about that!

I will fix that one day!

Glad you think the site is good, the reason I set the vids to auto play was to drag the viewers attention to certain events an hopefully steer them in the right direction!

It's a little slow on my side having all of them loading n the same page. Maybe consider linking to your videos from the page and have them open separately. This will help with the length issue as well.
