Website Review and Suggestions

Hello guys I was wondering if you could review my new page, its been online since december 2008 ... pretty new! im still improving it almost daily and would love for you guys to critique my work!

Hi there,

I think that the design looks simple and good enough. But you need to work more on your content and add some more links to the paid and free hosting sections as a list with 2 links is not really a list ..

other than that ... good luck

Very bland - people expect to see photos of people iin business suits holding meetings, phots of webservers, linux and microsoft logos etc. You get the idea...

A simple design that I can't argue with, if I stumbled upon it I wouldn't hate it. My only concern is the lack of content -- your main page makes a lot of promises, but the content of the site itself seems limited.

My guess is that you're an affilliate for your two paid options and you're just fleshing out the site a bit.

It's a good idea, and will probably work, but I would expand on the content to make it a more comprehensive list. Even if all you really do is add more affiliate links from webhosting companies, it'll make the site appear to be an overall more useful tool.

Design is pretty simple. Add supporting images, so visitors can see what your site is about.

thanks for the reviews guys, Im currently working the site. adding a new color scheme, writing a new script for the whole site! im grateful for your reviews and i will take all the tips and tricks into account!

look up how to make the footer stick to the bottom of the site. there's a great tutorial on 'a list apart.'

Hi,
It looks "ok" however i do have a few suggestions.

1 - Add a forum / message board for people to talk about said providers.
2 - Add much more content ( even if its free hosts that are rubbish ) you can say its rubbish.. But it add to the content.
3 - Maybe do actual reviews of said services. People will liek to read them..
What features they offer, do they have adverts, whats the catch.

have some form of feature matrix ie:
php support :
asp support :
sql support :
cron support :
ftp support :
etc etc etc

Its a good start, But really needs a bit more "user interaction" content for people to look at regarding the hosting providers.

Have a simple top3 section maybe.. based on votes or reviews, Allow users to do reviews.
IE: performance rating, easy of use, features (out of 10) or star rating..

Maybe on your list have a small screenshot thumbnail of the providers main page.

These are all simple small things that can add to content and website value.

I know you have some of these suggestions on other pages, But maybe add some "snippets" to the main page with some thumbnails.. It makes it look nicer and full of content.
Small snippets from other pages, help make the main page look like its got plenty of info. and people can then drill into the other pages through maybe a small [ More .. ] Link at the bottom rigth of every snippet.

I like your design, and your color choice but their is not a lot of content on your site. And when i clicked the free hosting link the bottom of the page was messed up i even refreshed the page a few times.
