The website is very clean. Always a plus. Something that I did note, however, is that the dark blue against the black background is messing with my eyes a bit. Do you see what I'm saying?

First of all, the entire background should be the same color as your header. That was the first thing I noticed about the site. There's a good amount of white space between the columns, but not enough inside of them. The links look very ugly.. Try putting them into a list, and styling that to look nice. Like you did with the navigation! I don't really like how the two left columns follow the entire layout. You should try using a rounded corners technique with them so it's not so distracting. Make sure to change the color of the footer text if you can't see it against the reddish background!

Edit: Oh and the people in the header's picture should look better! The image itself, is what I mean. It looks low-quality.

id, say change the google adsense background to match the dark blue-ish background, so it doesnt look like the adsense is pasted on. Also make the top header a bit smaller as its taking too much room and covers nearly half the page when you first load the site.

Plus theres 2 columns on the left where half way through, its just blank. Id say either use this space for more informative content about your blog, or put some advertising, but make sure the advertising matches the dark-blueish background.

rounded corners with a border or bevel makes the design look dated. a custom logo would be nice.

you need to rethink your navigation. actually, what you have isn't really navigation. it's just a list of articles you've written. it could be displayed better, rather than looking messy and squished in a narrow column.

since your site is a blog and is meant for heavy reading, don't use white text on a dark background. it should be the other way around so it's less fatiguing reading through your articles.

why is each article opening in a new window? i would prefer then open in the same window.

first, you definitely need a proper domain. if you don't want to spend, you can a nice free one at dot.tk
second, make a decent logo, there are loads of online sites for you to make one for free. you don't even need to sign up or download anything.
third, make the google ad background color the same as your site
fourth, there is way too much blank space along the left hand side after your ads and links.
