Free Sports Contest

I am not sure what your site is about. It looks like a blog but you say its a sport contest site.
The animation in the header looks out of place. I am not saying this to be negative but, if I was a visitor I would not know what to do at your site. most people skim a site when they first visit and if it look like what they are looking for they they might stay, if not they are gone.
I hope your idea takes off and wish you much success.

No that you have to, but I would suggest adding some sports artwork to the site. I specialize in making theme-based sites where I try to put icons/graphics related to the topic into the sites design.

Seems like the header could use some improvement, maybe just make the whole header flash instead of just a tiny part of it animated.

Hopefully you can do more with this site than it just being a bloglike template.

Thanks guys , figured what i had looked like crap and wasnt going in a good direction. So i scraped it and have started on a whole new redesign and seems to be going alot better. will post for site reviews once im a little further along with the new look.
