Hi guys - really excited to start meeting everyone on the forums here! This is my second website (I'd rather not talk about my first one). I think it's a fantastic idea, really.

The concept goes something like this:
Say you wanted to buy a gift for friends or family, a book, perhaps, but buying books can be tricky. They make fantastic gifts because of the huge variety, but all of those options makes it tough - the goal of this website is to promote a community of book lovers to help out and recommend great reads to people who might not otherwise have thought about it - hence the pun on 'Novel' gifts.
I'd really appreciate comments on my forum design too, as I've never used or designed a forum before:

Oh, and for all you people which clicked on this topic because I said I had posted a fantastic Watchmen comic book review, including themes, characters, movie trailers and more, it's all right here!!! The Movie looks AWESOME!!! And if you haven't seen the trailers, you have gotta check it out.
