I would shrink that 400x400 pic down a bit. But the colors look good.

yeah you should shrink the pic and the colour scheme you chose is very nice i like it.

There's no contrast. Too blue. You should scale the image, or remove it, doesn't fit fine there. The title is repeated.

I agree with the others, the picture should be smaller. Would be nice to see a logo of some kind.

Yeah, definitely shrink that image so that everything else moves up. The blue bar on the top isn't really needed, and move those advertisements so that people can see the forum when they go to the main page.

I agree with the previous posts but if you want to keep that layout I would try to make it more obvious that you have to scroll down to see the forum - otherwise it's difficult to tell what the site is about.

uhhhh get rid of that nasty big head at the top and youre rockin

that big image really does make it look like it WAS NOT supposed to be like that.
which puts new comers off as they think if you dont care about your site then you probably dont care about its users either.

other than that the forum theme is good.

what is the actual forums theme/category though?
is it a sports related forum? i might join

I actually "LOL'd" at that picture. I would remove it and your site will look much more polished.
