Hey.

I created a new webpage about a week ago http://www.konetchreport.com . It's still pretty new and I need to work out some kinks, especially with the forum.

I would appreciate it if you could just review the layout, and the code.

Thanks

Hi Kontech,

A good place to start would be here. This will help you sort out your code.

The titles look like links because of the underline.
I would add some left padding to the recent activity section.
How many pages/articles will you end up with? I would switch to Wordpress or a similar CMS now because organising 100s of HTML pages could become a nightmare.

Dan

The site columns looks not well. The right and left spacings are very small.

I'd agree with the previous post that the left column and main section are too close together. Also nothing seems to line up which, for me, is making it look a little messy. I think it's because the left menu is too low down. Just my opinion though. Hope this helps!

hello, your site is very nice, although I think it could use some colors and some CSS tweaking. I'd like to direct you to an article I wrote from this type of fix @ http://www.2mellow.com/?p=335.

Hey Konetch,
As an SEO expert, there's some simple things you can do to get your site started off on the right foot:
1. Create unique titles for every page of your site. Someone mentioned WordPress as a good CMS to manage your site. I agree. WP is great for SEO
2. Create unique meta descriptions, that are short, descriptive, and have a call to action in them, for every page of your site. I noticed you have slightly different Meta Descriptions on each page, but they are all very similar, and really bland
3. Use the H1 attribute on the header text of each page, and make the header text a bit more descriptive.
4. Do some keyword research (this should probably be #1) and figure out what your niche is. Your site could be pretty valuable if you were to target it towards webmasters, or marketers. But your site isn't really focused towards any particular group, or for any keywords.

I think the layout is plain and simple. Could have a more consistent color scheme to it also.

# Logo is not very much clear so you should labour on that and also giving a message made by 12 years old kid.

# Alignment of text and column is not looking good not like as organised one.

# If possible than choose another template which can give a professional look.

# There is no content in sports category as well.
