Umm... I understand its a store I dont understand why it looks like a blog...

I suggest just making a regular store site instead of making it the way that you did.. =/

question: have you ever bought anything online before?

it doesn't look like you have. i mean, i can offer suggestions on how to improve sites, but this is just wrong to such a core basic level, it's pointless. people say wordpress is great as someone can get a site up in no time, but it shouldn't be taken literally and applied to any type of website. you have to think if it makes sense. seriously, take some time and look around at how e-commerce sites are suppose to be set up.

It would be better to use some shopping cart scripts like oscommerce etc rather than using the wordpress for this purpose

hmmm, not really sure if it is really going to the next big thing...
you need a logo and slogan first and foremost.
it's not a bad start i would say
however the site looks a bit bland.
there is just way too much white space.
try adding some ads or something along the right hand side
might also want to add a favicon just to finish it all off.
keep it up, all the best

I don't want to be insulting, just constructive... . I'd try googling ecommerce template. They use smaller pictures, when products are aligned vertically aposed to horizontially, descriptions go on the side of the picture, and they use borders to seperate their products not prices and plain gray backgrounds. It's not terrible looking but it's definitely not what I'd expect to see when I'm shopping online.

Nice gfx on the banner, it'd be nice if you implemented that on the side features.

Anyways, hope I gave you some ideas.

I agree 100% with the above statement.

Word Press is great for blogs however when developing a site to be used as ecommerce only wordpress is not what you need.

Take a look at the following new emerging players for free open source ecommerce applications:

MagentoCommerce.com
PrestaShop "do google seach"

if you want to combine a social aspect and ecommerce take a look at Joomla.

Use of colors for the website are done well however your approach to an ecommerce store will probably not attract anyone.

If I were looking for what you were selling and wanted to buy not learn I would leave the site the moment I enter. Probably never come back as well.

It is not just being creative in web design that is important however how your market and plan your website.

It does look like a blog. When you start earning revenue from your site, I suggest you purchase a shopping cart plugin.

agreeing with the others why use a blog script for it.
Here is a example that i rather would have used:
Joomla With Virtuemart extension

find it here
http://www.joomla.org/
http://virtuemart.net/

and the best thing it is free

Yes, i don't think that wordpress is the best script for your blog. Joomla or Mambo will do + add e commerce for the shopping cart script. But i might say it's a wekk made site. It's clean.
