here's a description:
Search all Gumtree sites with no more hassle of changing cities and doing the same search again. Search every city and all categories within Gumtree in one effortless search. ILUMU.COM makes it so simple to search the whole of Gumtree from a single website.

To be honest I think it looks decent. You could add a little more content and explain what exactly it does in a little more detail. And, the logo is nice

Looks good. I was kind of lost because I don't know what the heck Gumtree is. So I think an explanation who/what Gumtree is would be nice, so the average user that doesn't know anything about Gumtree is more enticed to insert queries.

I'd also add some background color on the resulting websites that appear after the user inserts queries. It's kind of boring to scroll through plain white when your initial website is so colorful and lively. Perhaps a data table type of look like: http://www.alistapart.com/d/zebrastr...data-table.png
Except with your color scheme? Blue, orange, with white in between? I don't know if the color scheme would look good because I have a horrible imagination... but it'd be interesting to see... I definitely think that data-table look would suit it well though.

btw gumtree is just like the uk version of craigslist basically.

thanks for the feedback so far guys, both through here and pm. much appreciated. i am happy to say that after a few hours of hard work today i've added search refinements for regions. whilst searching the whole of gumtree may be useful, some people may only want results from more local cities, so this should help solve the problem. anyway, please check it out, and let me know. cheers again!

The site's design looks good and the search results are displayed like google's which is good as so many people use and like google. The drawback is you are dependent on the fact that anyone who uses your site knows about gumtree .... you might want to include a short description of gumtree on the front page and make it stand out ... also when I click on any of the links in your search results in takes me to page displaying gumtree's postings...i thought a search would yield individual postings not a page of postings
