Website Review and Suggestions

I've always followed the news about North Korea, the most isolated and unpredictable country in the world so I thought I'd make a blog to voice these issues a bit more and provide personal analytics on matters.

North Korea Leak

Just started yesterday so need some opinions on concept, design, and system (wordpress) etc..

I plan on putting more in the header (page/link-wise) and improving the footer some time so the background fades back in.

As for the site:

Concept = Pretty original idea, haven't seen or heard of many North Korean News Blogs out there.

Design = Great design. I get a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom however, meaning I can't see the sidebar completely, so you may want to change the CSS of that portion.

System = WP is a great CMS and I don't have any problems with it.

One final thought I had is that you could perhaps use the second blue bar (below the logo) and move it to the bottom and use that as your footer, because it looks kind of strange just having a blank image bar there. Just an idea...

The header is actually the north korean flag so the blue bar has its purpose, I'm thinking of putting a jquery flashy thing there so the latest news flashes in and out.

You get the horizontal bar because the site is quite wide - you must be using a smaller resolution than me I presume

very nice site! I love the theme, the look and the overall feel to it. It's a very niche topic as well. The search box looks a little bit goofy, but thats about it. Great site.

Well, my monitor's resolution is 1024 X 768, which is pretty common. Don't know exactly how many other people use it though, but the template looks pretty big from my end.

Yeah that's the one. Sorry I know it's big, it wassomewhat intentional, but don't ask why lol..
