1. Would you stay on my site or not? and Why?

Just taking a look and I say I'd probably sign up. Not sure how you can make people active other than the usual things, but you could do some advertising, target people on Youtube and Myspace, ask them politely if they'd like to showcase themselves on new site, etc.

Site looks good, though I think the banner is pretty horrible. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the site nor does it have the name of site included on it. There's also only a small section of it that's clickable (top left) in Firefox 3.

I also think you have a bit too much information on the front page. I would suggest shortening your main page to three really good sentences about what your site can do. Then have a features page that goes into more detail and link to that. It's a little overwhelming right now :]

Your welcome page could also do with being written with SEO in mind and more focus on the site itself and how it can help people. You might want to get a professional writer for that.

Otherwise though I'd see no reason why I wouldn't sign up were it my 'thing' and it was promoted properly!

Well, it goes like this...You create it, they will come. That's all the web seems to be at least at the moment, so if you want them to use your site as a 'tool', you will need to enforce that on your visitors...It's what I call dedication to the electron age. If your not willing to dedicate time into it, then you might as well consider it as a side job, or better...A PART-TIME gig.

It kinda looks like a template based website to me, I don't like it...too much going on on the index page, and the icons are scattered about, so your eye doesn't know where to move, and what to look at. Why have both a welcome tab and a I'm new here tab?

Also, why is there a link in the menu for search? There already is a search bar at the top.

Another note: I forgot what the site was called already.. that's bad.

Overall rating: 3.5/10 Needs a lot of work.

It looks good, I like the banner and right side navigation, the main part of the page is fine, but nothing special.
