Layout: ****, simple and ok

Design: ** too hard contrast between red and black - it's like looking through a letterbox. some pictures or other graphics would be nice

Coloring: * see above - red is not a good background colour, try deepening the red if you must use it. i would suggest picking a whole different colour scheme

Overall: ** it's simple but not welcoming and too hard on the eyes.

It isn't down! If you get it, try it again, if it still "is down" then my dad is switching my hosting company or adding stuff for the site/database (if i have a database) | 'Cause I was going to switch to Linux Hosting so I could have phpBB for my forum (which I am a huge fan of phpBB) and WordPress I will have for my blog.

EDIT 2:

The templates original color was bright green, but since i like red better, I did that.

well make the red richer and lose the black, and throw in some orange e.g. #FF6600 and dark pink #D9007E.

I mean the following with absolutely no disrespect. With that said, I feel as if it was thrown together in 10 minutes. Maybe it's cause there really isn't much to look at. You've got the right idea and I applaud the effort to write clean code, but you might want to buy a book or two on design and layout.

Well, lemondime, it IS new, and I used a template from OSWD.ORG and so it was kinda thrown together, but not in 10 minutes, in about a hour it was put on, I made multiple pages with that...

EDIT:
lemondime, I use dreamweaver, and it kinda dos'nt show some parts while in design mode, so I will pay attention. Also, I have a book for dreamweaver from adobe themselves.
