Website Review and Suggestions

Hello, my name is Otto Borden and I have just finished 'major' coding on my website ASBF. Please look it over and tell me what you think, feedback of any kind welcome.

Disclaimer: anything i say is based solely on helping you out. I give honest reviews. Here's what I think:

Design

The website has no kind of identifiable structure, and it's not ultimately clear what the goal of your website is. As well, the layout changes with each new page, which could alienate people. I'm not a giant fan of the logo, and I think you'll definitely need to put the acronym meaning under the title, because the domain name and "logo" make absolutely no sense. Also, try to make links stand out more.

You seem to be all about business proposals, and I'm not sure what that has to do with "financing." In my mind, financing involves money and helping entrepreneurs and businesses with things like loans or expenses?

Getting around the website is also a really big hassle. The logo should be clickable, and you should organize navigation in one primary area. Finding the "about" and example profile and such is really complicated.

Hi,

It wasn't clear to me that I was on the homepage and what the purpose of the site was.
I like the simplicity, but I think you should work on the layout and have some more information to convince people to show some of their personal data; Why should they cooperate with you, why are you reliable etc.

I really like the colours but the text looks a bit bereft just sitting there. Also there is a typo in the text - isnâ€™t - which needs fixing and you should explain what asbf stands for

I would have to agree with most of the things that SneakyHearthen said.

This website also looks very old fashioned, and the logo is very hard to read.

I can create a mock-up of something I think would be better if you would like.

The site looks good, straight to the point, i think the layout needs revising and the forum looks abit empty which can deter ppl from joining. Keep us posted what chnages you have made.

Very simple site, cannot say that it looks bad, but it does have an older feel to it. You have the visitor trapped into a square which I don't think is a bad thing, just that it can be a boring visitor experience even though I think it is a great way to keep the visitor focused on the content. Overall, nice simple design.

When i view it through a 800 x 600 monitor resolution the name and password fields break up weird and at the bottom is a scroll bar underneath the copyright, the links do not look good maybe take the underlines away, and maybe change the color scheme.
