Website Review and Suggestions

I have recently finished the major work on a new site, wondered what people think of it generally. Navigation, content, ease of use etc.

The site is a guide to a local shopping and residential area in the UK. Slightly older demographic.

This is it: www.westbourne.info

Just added comments system to the business directory using IntenseDebate, seems to work well??

heres something to think about....changing the titles in your main menu because its kinda of obvious that your site is about "westbourne" there for just have "home, news directory, weather, history, contact" not westbourne listed 50 million times, also i found a spelling error in your title ..."wesbourne" / "westbourne"

Yep, the comments work great (and the url is dofollow too).

If you are going remove the word "westbourne" you should highlight that your site IS only about westbourne. It's only obvious now because the word is in every category. But, people do NOT read carefully.

15 for a listing with photo?

Nice - where did you find the 'fetch' latitude and longitude plugin?

I visited youe site home page. Is good and well work has been done there. Try to make some changes in title...you 60-70 characters and make a comprehensive title.

I visited your site and found the banner with Westbourne.info written on it did not cover the full page and had a big white space in front of it.

Did you optimize it for any resolution? Mine was 1024/768 In Firefox
Visited your site in Internet Exploder and still found the same thing.
Missing the first part of the W too oh and got a popup i think

Other than that I like the layout its clean and crisp and a cool colour
Like the menu as well thats good. You are not too far from me either

I don't know if it's because I'm in US or what but the site is loading pretty slow right now... Asides from that I love the colors you have picked over here... Very user friendly layout
