I like the ethereal look, but you need to do some work.
The lettering style you've chosen for the title is difficult to read. At first glance it looks like "Angels of Sight". That's one of the drawbacks of the Old English styles. It also looks a bit fuzzy.
The colors are good for what you are trying to do.
You should get a favicon.
The main problem that I have with the sight is that there is no defined purpose and very little content. Is this a photo gallery? if it is, then you need more pics. Is it a reference site? If so, then you need more information. History, Biblical references... even personal testimonials.
The "About" page is just a link to a wiki article. It seems as though you want a site, but don't want to put in the effort. I don't think that's the case, it just seems that way. If you are going to make the commitment to build it, then carry it through. If you are still getting content together, then let us know so we won't criticize the site for the lack of substance.
The contact link just says "Pray Often"... If that is supposed to be humorous, then I'm sorry but I don't get it.
If you are going to have the links, then actually put some useful information in there.
If the objective of your site is to promote Christianity, then consider this... Why would you promote a belief system by putting up a site that that promises answers... but has no substance? (ie photos, contact information, links and information ABOUT the site) What does that say about Christianity itself?. Remember, you are representing something here.
If you simply like angels and are just having fun, then lighten up a bit with the religious stuff. Go one way or the other. Make the effort, or not... the choice is yours.
I hope I haven't been overly critical, that wasn't my intention, silverglade. Sometimes it's good to step back a bit and look at the site from the user's point of view.
