Website Review and Suggestions

Here is my site for review and suggestions. I want to hear it all from really good to the really bad, I can take it.

I need to know what to change from a new perspective.

It is for a web development company. I know the design is kind of different but that is what was wanted. Let me know what you think of it.

Some things I would like to know is: good navigation, content, works in different browsers, colors, and anything else you see.

There are things to like about the site however, I'm not 100% sold on your navigation system. The idea is different but maybe you could refine it somehow. (perhaps a gradient underlining?)
I'm not going to say it's bad, but it looks like it could use a little more graphics. Maybe a little more color?

i don't like cheap ads. Brings the site down a peg in the professional stakes

As you are advertising a design service this is your 5 seconds! Its your vehicle to Wow and its just not happening here.

Remove the W3c logos as i think these are the fury dice of web sites.

a few things:

1. there's no real design to your site. it's just a black background with a grey box.
2. the font was left at browser default. you could at least declare a different font.
3. navigation is composed of only images.
4. the poll you have on the right is a bit silly and pointless.
5. you have ads placed in awkward places and breaks the flow of your content. not only that, but the ads have nothing to do with your website.
6. on your pricing page, how can you quote someone with just a name? without ANY details about their project?
7. lastly, i feel you really just need to look at your competition and maybe get some inspiration from css galleries. your design abilities are just not up to par with the talent out there. build up your skillset and go from there.

Not really you all gave me exactly what I wanted.

I really appreciate you all taking the time to have a look at my site and you gave some good advice. Back to the redesign i guess.

I've only been at this about 6 months so that helped to let me know what to do from there.

About giving the quote wih just a name, there is a page after that. That is a flawed design that I've been working on changing.

I would say change the font. From Times Roman to Georgia maybe.
I think that would complement it well as Time Roman is so default baby.

Yeah I didn't think to change the default font. Theres many things I didn't think of apparently

It's not terrible, but I don't get it. Did you use a template? The images are all at the bottom or your code. Did you use css to position them?

Its not a template its kind of set up like one though. I did use css to position the bottom images. I used css to put all the content on top of it.
