Just did some new work on it. Giving it a slightly diverent navigation.
Just checked as xhtml transitional 100% correct (woohoo)

You've got me there. Then again. Does the layout seems nice. Can you few it right in your browser (please state wich browser and wich version). And ofcourse.. What is your overall impression? (style, coding, etc)

In my opinion it's a bit hard to see the white text on that gradient background (especially towards the bottom as it gets lighter). As for the mouseover header effect, it's a pretty cool one, but some of your headers are not aligned correctly with the other ones so it looks off, I would recommend fixing that.

I like your typography (sans the text color against the light background), the only suggestion I would offer is to possibly changed your hover effect on the right navigation as the black almost seems to be too dark (of course I'm not a designer I'm just a programmer so what do I know!). Also, the yellow hover-over on the "Volledig artikel" link in the right nav on the home page is very out of place (I think that might be a scripting issue left over from your hover over effects at the top? Maybe?)

Looks good though, I think you are just about there.

It's a teensy bit too wide, if you can make it like 10 px more narrow, it will eliminate the horizontal scrollbars.

Also, I agree that the white text at the bottom is very hard to read.

One last thing, I think the reflection is a bit too distracting. It's too opaque. Also, there's like a 3 pixel gap. Maybe that's on purpose but it makes it look like it's floating.

It looks fine in google chrome
i like how the images fade without using flash
I think it looks professional and really good.

Nice design, Checked in Explorer and Mozilla , Working finein both
. few negative things IMO the text is too wide and white text BG color making it hard to read.
Rather then that I like it.

Many thax for the reviews. I have done some work on it. I have added an ie stylesheet to make it work. I'll however leave it intact for other browsers. Firefox will soon support text shadows. Already working in Safari, Chrome and Opera. Don't know about Konqueror as I don't have it installed or a liveCD
