My first reaction was that I DO NOT like music being forced upon me by a website. Usually I will navigate away from the site immediately. If I had simply found your site by accident, I would have been gone within 3 seconds.
I was intrigued by the whole "floating orb" concept. I wish I could interact with them though. None were clickable or dragable. I would like to see a "safe" area on the screen, where I could drag those orbs that I was interested in, and not worry about them running away. I would also have a "STOP" button, to stop the movement of ALL orbs. If I saw the one I wanted, and I missed it, I'm not going to sit there for 3 hours waiting for it to come back around.
I would want to be able to enlarge a single orb so I can see it better. These tiny little thumbnails will be impossible to read.
The basic concept sounds like it might be kind of fun and interesting, but after the novelty wears off, then I think it could easily become boring and tedious. You may want to include a search box. Most people want instant results from the internet, so why not offer both... a conventional search method AND this holistic search technique?
