Website Review and Suggestions

I just created a new ASP.NET Blog so i was wondering if you can take a look at it and tell me your opinions/suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Ok, I'll just put my comments in order of what i notice.
First of all it looks like the search bar is disabled try changing the colors around or something to make it not look disabled. Try making the right column a bit shorter in width. Thats about it.

Wow- it looks nice- simple but nice
I like that each entry has a nice colorful picture

I agree the right column could use some shrinkage and maybe something more over there

I do like one thing though- no ads!
ONe thing I hate is when the newer sites are already plotting off ad space and theres more ads than content.

Hey PC master i just tested my blog with all browsers http://browsershots.org/http://www.aspneter.com/ and it seems to be cross-browser .. btw, i like your site.

I thought it was sinmple and clean very informative. i didnt look at that many posts and was just generally browsing but got the impression that everything was there and everything was also working -. apart from locating you on the google maps..I did get a map but as far as I know you could have been in italy, turkey, greece or even romania. Cool feature, not sure if its meant to track you real time via some other app.

Thanks Actually right now i'm changing all the gfx on the site for a few reasons.
1. Some of the gfx just doesn't fit and i'm going to try to get a global color scheme.
2. i'm going to make it fit to the viewers screen size.
But I probably won't upload it for a while I need to change all the templates and style sheets ect. then make sure it works for all pages.

It's very clean and I like the usage of images to compliment your articles. I would not do anything else to it. Great job!

Hmm for me it loads pretty quick. Can anybody else confirm that it loads slowly? Thanks a lot

now that i notice it there is a one or two second delay when the page is loading after it connects before any gfx comes up.

hmm do you think that this delay is related to some plugin issues ?
Otherwise i don't see why it would late at all. It is wordpress platform and i have installed several plugins on it. Weird!

actually it might be the plugins because it aparently is before the body starts to load, plus usually content is taken from the server from the top up, i think this might be the problem.

in other words yes your plugins though i'm not sure. try disabling the plugin called syntax highlighter and code prettifier. Then ask us to test the site, and you can test it yourself and we can check if thats the problem. Yes it will make it look odd for a short period of time but thats the only risk.

Ok i have deactivated this plugin and honestly i am able to see small difference. It seems to be faster now or maybe it only seems so ... please test it for me and tell me if it possibly causes the delay. Thank you very much .. i really appreciate your help/assistence.

That seams to have cut the delay from 1-2 seconds to about half a second.
