Lol the first thing I thought when I saw it was that I made a site quite similar to this once... even with a little watermark like that down the bottom.
Anyway I think you need to do something with the left side menu bar, change the colour or something and get rid of the dots. Actually looking at it now I would do a complete colour change below the green line because some how it just looks wrong.... a clean white or pale bright green or pale yellow might be nice?
