Website Review and Suggestions

Hey guys & gals -

I'm looking for some comments and suggestions for a site that I just launched. The site allows you to enter a song name (or a lyric from a song) and find out what movie that song has been in. You can also enter a movie name and get a listing of the soundtrack for that movie. I'm looking for critiques on all aspects of the site: the usability, the usefulness, the design, etc. Heres a link to the site:

wow it's a really great site. design is perfect but put some more ads and some links. it's almost like google

Why don't you put a border around the text field ? Also you may consider adding a small close button on the help rounded box, the way it appears when clicking on the About, Advertise and Contact links.

Only works in IE. What about the other browsers? The design look nice and clear. However, I toke a look at the code. Alot of it aint working in either IE or other browsers.

First design site's for browsers other then IE. Then apply the dirty IE fixes.

What browser are you using? I tested it with IE 8, Firefox (not working), Safari 4 and Opera 9+

Must ad: The warning for older version of IE browsers with the condition statements is clever used. I must say that I support this. Tomany people are using old browsers. IE is like almost 7 years old now? I can still see people using crappy browsers such as IE 5.x and sometimes even older....

@Asaka - I want to build up the site's popularity a bit first before adding any more ads. Thanks for the comments though

@Ipenev - I wanted the input to look more open, not having some other lines inside the rounded search input... if that makes sense? I will definitely add a close button to the help box though, so thanks for that idea!

@theohoutman - What version of Firefox are you using? I've been testing it in FF3 and it seems to work fine. It should also work in webkit browsers (Chrome, Safari), and IE 6,7, and 8. I have noticed it breaks in the Mac version of Firefox 1 or 2 (can't remember which), which is something I'll fix up soon. Also, glad you noticed and appreciated the IE warning :P
