Website Review and Suggestions

After reviewing a lot of sites I decided to post mine. It can be found here. Don't be afraid to be real critical, It's for business and I would like it to be as good as it can be.

Your name in the banner is very hard to read- definitely not as smooth as the background. Overall its kinda blah- not something that would make me go, I should hire this guy. You should link to your portfolio on the main page under either Beautiful Designs or Professional Designs and not About Me.

BTW- your sample was taking forever to load and theres a spelling error in your About Me paragraph.

Here's a couple.

1. Not sure why you have black and orange at the top. Seems like you would only need the black.
2. You have a horizontal scroll bar. Try having your layout in %'s and/or use min-width and max-width.
3. Your banner is hard to read.

I like the sites look. Very smooth. Several points:

1. The "Alex Konetchy" font. Some may consider it hip, but to me it looks like a graphic was uploaded with low resolution. Some people may think it looks unprofessional.

2. the "KonetchReport provides you...etc" is totally the wrong color. The light-grey against the white makes it very hard to read.

3. I would take the "my portfolio" out of the "about me" page. Having only one site to show does NOT look good. I know that I, personally, probably wouldn't hire you with only one site under your belt. Nothing personal! Take it out.

4. Once you DO have more sites to show for your portfolio, don't hide it under "about me". People will be looking for it, and it should be linked from the main page.

I find the orange hard on the eyes. I dislike that the logo is not distinct from the content section.

It annoys me that the navigation links aren't right aligned to the edge of the content frame. On a wide resolution they float far to the right of the page, and it looks weird and unbalanced.

You really need a Portfolio or Work section.

the orange is very hard on the eyes and you logo at the top is rather dodgy...
it has a very hard contrast for no reason what so ever and for me there is too much white space!

I like it! But I could not get the videos to play.The only one I could get to play was Killzone 3. It may be my computer I am not sure but if its not you might want to look into that. One thing I do suggest is maybe putting the other sites you have done on there to. You say to email you to see other work of yours. I would want to see your work before emailing you. No offense but if its good get it out there so everyone can see.I don't think I would email you and ask for more of your work.I would probably look at the guy who had alot of or all of his work right there where I could see it. Other than that Keep it up!!!

I agree with what the other are saying. The area that needs work I think, is the logo. Not only does it need font, but the dark blue doesn't go with the rest of the colors on the site.

Kindly remove the orange like background because it hurts the eyes.
The logo used is too simple.
The navigation should be below the logo.

as what everyone is saying about the orange part on the top of the site I think you needed to recolor that one to a much lighter color. Then you need to adjust the usage of your font type you need to learn more on typography. Plus the spaces is very wide there are still some rooms to fill in. well I guess that's it for now.
