Wow! Nice kitchens - only thought would be to group them into say five types e.g period, modern, retro etc. and then have sub menu displays as the when you look at the showroom (whilst the images are great) it comes across as a bit cluttered, weirdly I have found having white space sell stuff!
To get it showing on Google:-
a) Write a blog on blogger about your new site with a back link to it. As google owns blogger this should get you listed within a week.
b) Register for webmaster tools on Google and create and then submit your xml sitemap to them, also making sure you "verify" yourself as the owner.
I have found these two very simple tricks get you indexed in days not weeks. Indeed using these tricks alone I have two clients that are now both in No.3 slot in google for their chosen keywords - with no other SEO involved at all. Also you want to make sure that you have a map to your showroom, get this linked in via googlemaps. I did this for one client and in less than a week he was at No.2 in google for a 400,000+ keyword term!
Hope this helps
Dickie

Considering that it's your first website, it's actually quite nice. I have some thoughts on the buttons though. They don't look that good and maybe you should try and keep them on one row? If you know what I mean. The text at the footer and the top is kind of boring so you should change the font to something more professional like Verdana.

Nice logo, very professional. I agree with golden14 that you should divide the kitchens into categories.

Here are my suggestions for your home page, which is the only page that I looked at;

You need to have KEYWORDS in your page titles. Titles are very important for high search engine rankings.

You need a H1 heading for all of your pages and you need to state your USP (unique selling proposition) in your heading. In other words what is the main benefit, not a feature, the visitors will receive by doing business with you.

You also need TEXT that contains KEYWORDS on your home page. You have very few words on the home page now.

Place a CALL TO ACTION on your pages.

Maybe reduce the size of the image and move the navigation on the left hand side up.

Very nice photo of the kitchen.

Here are my suggestions:

- You should make the font of the navigation menu smaller. Currently, it is as big as your font on the banner

- Your can improve the visuals of your quoted text. It makes the page look like a magazine.

- The buttons on the left side covers some part of the cabinets.

- There are lots of SEO work involved to be visible on Google. Your website has none at the moment.

its nice and clean another suggestion is you should also refine the design of your header. I like what you did on the logo. and yes the top navigation bars should be in one line. all in all not bad for a first website. congrats

The designing concept of your website is really impressive. You have skillfully used flash in this website. You just need to do some SEO for your website for getting online visibility.

This is a very good start for you, however i would recommend simplifying the navbar, because there's two parts to it, the top right and the bottom left. a lot of people are accustomed to seeing the navbar in one place, so try and rethink that. overall it looks nice though

I am not an expoert but here ar emy comments.

It takes to long to load up (even without the flash !)
The menus are in two different and unusal places.
The top menu is on two lines (in my Firefox)
There is too much wasted space at the top right hand corner.
Your address line at the bottom takes up too much space
I don't like scrolling down on a home page to see everything.
You don't say what makes your kitchens better than someone elses
You don't tell your visitors what to do (other than pheon you) phone you for what ?
So I would rate it .... not many out of ten

I agree with the above it doesnt look paticually good in firefox

-I like the logo although it has no key words in it - interiors of what it could be alot of things just because its its inside its interior isn't it... search engines wont pick up on that

-Flash doesnt work in my firefox

-Use a different font that is easier on the eye and more warmer

-Too many kitchens and bedrooms to look at - you need to subcatagarise them into smaller areas

-The slogans a bit cheesey but cheese is ok in propotion

-bit brief on the information on each page

-good for a first website but does need alot of work...

I am no professional by any means but heres my thoughts. Your first website is amazing! No its not perfect but as far as being your first I would have never guessed. There is lot of nice pictures , alot of options for the buyer to choose from. I think Your site would stand out if placed against 10 similar sites with the same products. My first site looks quite generic. Yours is far from that!! Great work and good luck!!

I like what you are trying to accomplish with the site, but my first reaction was why is everything images? Explore more CSS and HTML. PS Sliced sites are not well recieved by people and are not search engine friendly at all.

I like the overall design though. Way better than my first website!

Great job. I would right-justify "Manufactures & Installers of Quality Fitted Furniture" so it would give more impact to your logo though.

On that note, I think it's it's "manufacturers", not "manufactures."

Can someone tell me why it does not show correctly in firefox? Works perfectly in internet explorer?

Something to do with resolution maybe?

Thanks for the comments by the way.

It is not bad, but I believe the fonts, navigation and hyperlinks need some design love.

I would suggest to keep working on it it doesnt have the polished feel of a professional website yet.
