Website Review and Suggestions

I have recently created a website for my nonprofit project to help the homeless, mainly the homeless of Philadelphia. Please tell me what you think. I would really appreciate it!

I think the domain name really suits it. The page is really plain, adding a light background would help. Also, I would add a donate tab at the top, not little tiny text at the bottom. Also, adding a paypal donate button would be good.

The page needs a bit more contrast, although I really do like the idea of the site. I've been homeless myself before so its a cool thing to see someone doing that.

perhaps, like others have said, some color on the background to contrast the background that's being seen by the text. Perhaps a gray. There is too much white me thinks.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who has replied for their kindness in giving me advice. I am very design-impaired, but I do know that I want to keep the site very simple and easy to navigate.

I will begin experimenting with various soft background colors, and I will post some examples when I have them completed.

Add a header image and base some of the colors for the rest of the pages from the basic colors seen in the header image. Plus add a few more images on other pages. If you need some ideas try doing a google search for the keywords: 'royalty free images'. Sort by category and find some simple images to use. You will have to pay a small amout of $$$, but the little cost is worth it.

You have to put a donate with paypal somewhere prevalant on the site. No doubt. Unlike everyone else, I like the simpleness to the site.

Simple yet suits the purpose.............ur lucky to get a good domain name theses days
