I don't know if this should be in the blog review section or not, because it also contains integrated forums, and an integrated oscommerce shop. They all share the same database and have been heavily modified. It took weeks and weeks of going through unorganized code by the developer of the wposc package to get it working the way I wanted. Also I have many "contributions" sumbitted by the oscommerce community installed, which were near impossible to install with this unorganized code. I finally validated all of the xhtml 1.1 and css.

Let me know what you think of the integration, and design. Also any advice on SEO would be fantastic. I also have a dismal page rank of 1.

The site pretty much revolves around the Panasonic Toughbook, which is a brand of full rugged laptops primarily used by military, fire, ems, and police. They also have a couple other lines of laptops, including business rugged, semi rugged, ultra mobile rugged, and vehicle mounted rugged - all offering varying degrees of protection.

Looks great.
I loved the 10,000 pound elephant test

Why isnt there anything in your Tag cloud?

I would suggest that you need a bit more juice in your title tag.

Also, don't put your Title tag in all caps.
Remember thats what shows on the SERPs and
all caps just looks like a spam site.
You'll get better click through without.

Best of luck.

Dont forget the favicon.

Thank you so much, I knew that a keen eye would help me out with some of the stuff I was missing. I didn't even know what a tag cloud was, but boy oh boy am I glad you brought it to my attention. I've also updated my title tagline.

I'm going to do some research on the "favicon", because I don't know what one is.

Did you check out the integration with the oscommerce shop ?

Thanks again, I can't explain enough how much this helped!

To be honest I didnt even notice that there was a store.
I thought it was just a typical blog by somebody who
loved the product. I didnt realize I could also buy one on the
site.

THAT is a clear problem you will need to address.
You need a clear CALL TO ACTION button.
Dont be shy. Make a big, bright green, bright yellow or bright orange
button. whatever if going to capture the attention.
Give potential buyers every opportunity to hand
over their money.

Nice looking site. But like TWD said, the store part of the website might not stand out like you want it to.

Thanks guys awesome advice. I'll have to get started on making the "shop" button something green or yellow like you said. I'm rocking the tag cloud and the favicon now. I appreciate all of the help you've given me, and look forward to implementing some of the stuff I've learned from a couple more sets of eyes. Please continue to comment if you have any additional comments or advice.

Looks better.

I'd change the text to be even more direct.
"BUY a Toughbook here!"

Probably bold font too.

linking your images on the site to the actual buying page rather than to an enlarged image of it may help you out also. The link that you changed is an improvement, however like TWD said.. make it stand out. Something that makes it the first thing the user looks at when they load your page something that says...

HEY LOOK WE SELL THESE THINGS!

notice.. I bet you read the large bold red text before my actual post.
