this is weird if you copy and paste this one it works but it will not work as a link??

Strange. It appears that when the forum parses your link, it turns the ~ into %7E (like turning a space in the url into %20).
I'd recommend making a tinyurl to point to your site if you need to post a link to it in a forum in the future.

Overall, it's a fairly good website. The only major complaint I have is the mouseover images for your links on the homepage. I'd recommend a more subtle change when you hover over them.

Other than that, I really don't have any complaints. It's a nice, clean website.

It's because the forum auto link added "www" to the URI. Now fixed

It looks decent i agree about the mouse over images on the opening page, and when you go and view the images in your portfolio it took me a few seconds to figure out how to close them.

Simple, easy to navigate.

A few things i would consider is whats mainly been said; the buttons on the home page rollovers have a "tacky" feel to them, and should be more subtle, like a colour change. You really need a "close" button on your lightbox too.

Also, you could make the thumbnails slightly bigger, as most of them i have no idea what is going on in them untill i click them.

Good too see valid XHTML, and just to point out, your lightbox CSS is giving out some validation errors

You should really work on your font-size, font-color and paragraph padding/margin.

Also the buttons on your home page should have a smoother effect.

Put more text links on the index.

Improve your <TITLE> tag.

This will make a good difference.

From someone with limited experience, I thought it looked very nice. However, I did have a little bit of a problem moving around within the site, closing out in one area and moving to the next. And on one hand, it was kind of cool the way the home page worked, but at the same time it was a bit distracting.

All seems nice enough. The mouseover green icons react a bit violently mind you, looks like they might contract so much they explode!
