I just created this website. As described, it's an image rotator that allows you to display a random image from your album every page load, using a fixed URL. It can be used for forum avatars, posts & signatures, or blogs.

Unfortunatly vBulletin forums don't allow loading avatar from a remote URL

Please report to me any bug!

I dont see why you have to register to use this? I think you would definetly get alot of visitors, and returning ones too, if they didnt have to register. It looks nice and clean too, good job.

You asked for a review and it's coming from a coder, so please keep that in mind.

The code to create such a rotating image can be created in PHP with around 10 lines of code, so I don't see much value personally to the site, especially since it doesn't host the images. If, however, you added things where the images could have various timeframes for an image to show or a certain number of impressions before changing to a new image, then I can see a bit more value.

Not sure how you're monetizing or what kind of emails you'll send to people to sell other stuff, but the registration thing does put off a lot of people b/c they figure they'll be signing up for spam central (whether true or not).

EDIT: Oh, and the thing about accounts expiring if not logged into every 30 days seems a bit extreme. I signed up for the statcounter you're using about a year ago and have not logged in since as they send me all the data I care about in an email. If I had to login there, I'm sure I'd space that and get my account deleted which would not make it worthwhile to even sign up.

Thanks for your reviews,

Visitors have to register in order to identify each user by a username, because each user has his own albums.

I know it's easy to write the PHP code, but targeted visitors are not the coders!

If I don't ask people to login at least once every 30 days, I would earn nothing! just waste bandwidth! (Statcounter offers paid services too)

(I won't spam anyone, I will remove the email in the registration form if this disturbs too many peoples)

I think you might have taken my critique a bit too personally.

I didn't intend that, just wanted to give you things to think about.

As for the email, if you won't be spamming someone, I'd still collect the email address (you'll need it if they forget their password), but maybe make some clear, bold statement about never using their email for anything.

So, if you don't mind my asking, how do you monetize the site?

Just curious, do happen to have a script that rotates images based on frequency? What is that you ask? How about being able to rotate [code] based on time (date) instead of every refresh? Becomes a little too obvious after awhile of F5 ing don't cha think?

There used to be a really good one years ago, but I can't remember it...(Just Found it:http://www.az-scripts.com/script/n-5...nners-Pro.html It's a dead link, BUT It did a heck of a job refreshing images, videos, flash, java..You name it...If it could be displayed, it could be rotated using a config panel, and a calendar. Try to do that.

Website is monetized by Adsense, users have to login and manage their albums anyway.

F5 don't change the image on most browsers (because of the browser caching), but if you leave the page and back to it again, you will find another image.
