I have started to build a new site on "How to Build Chicken Coop?" Will anybody care to share this opinions about this new site..,

I had know idea that Chicken Coop building was such a cut throat business

First a few problems.
The ratings.
On my brower the headings are just a series of black boxes.
So the star ratings are meainingless.

How about a favicon guys? Maybe a chicken egg or something.

114 HTML validation errors ! Cripes.

Looks great on an 800px wide monitor. My Grandma still uses one of those.
Looks very cramped on my 1280 px wide screen.

Most designers learn to change the default color for links.
Bright blue looks a bit amateurish. You should change the default color
to something else.

Now my big question!
Maybe I'm missing something but I gather that the whole purpose
of this site is to provide an unbiased comparison between "coop builders".

And just coincidentally the site you chose looks remarkably (and I am sure accidentally) very similar to yours? Hmmm.

To be honest, at first I thought they were part of the same site.

Or maybe not..

The font use is horrible! Try to use a font such as trebuchets ms (it works on windows and mac os/x)

The text in the black boxes are black.... SO I can't read them at all unless you know how to search for that text. NExt thing is that the size of those boxes are huge!

I also checked where the links take me. I'm sorry but is this just a click trhough site?

Overall impression is mediate. The looks of the graphical work is nice but the content aint convincing. Take some time to work on that. I Love the subject! I once build a solar-hydrobox to dry vegetables and fruits.

Nice! Just small thig - if you change the background of your chicken guide from blue to brown maybe it will be better. Also the links can be in some color that will mach better with the main bg color. Good luck!
