Hey all,
I've recently had to put together a portfolio, and I think it looks fairly clean and professional. Nothing fancy, no oh-so-sexy javascript/flash effects, just a plain and simple portfolio.

Please tell me if you find any typos/errors rendering/asthetics problems.

Thanks for any comments.

This was a website developed for the 2008 Thinkquest Competition. It was the first full-fledged website that I had ever developed. It utilizes andvanced technologies such as a javascript search engine, dynamic loading of pages via AJAX, a customizable user interface, "Quick Quizzes", and a random fact generator. It should be noted that this website was a team effort, and I was responsible for the website design & graphics (not the intro movie), all the coding, and a few articles.
"ANDVANCED" should be changed into "ADVANCED"

It's okay but just that, 'okay.'

I don't understand why you would want to 'hastily' throw together the foundation of your business?

What's the hurry? The website looks clean but a bit too clean.

I personally believe only those who have an elite graphic portfolio could get away with a 'clean' design like this guy who immediately shows his portfolio as soon as you enter his website.

On your website, you have to go the portfolio page to see any graphics/artwork and even then, you have only 2 complete examples, 1 'old' and 1 currently in development.

Add to your portfolio or update your website - I don't think the 2 work hand in hand at the moment.

I think that you should have the title left aligned so that it aligns with the rest of the text. It is an alright website, it just looks like you through it together really quickly.

I do have a good way to go before I'm ready for anything very serious.. I'll make some mock-ups and try to make the page have a more graphically rich feel. Thanks

Its JavaScript.
Not javascript or Javascript.

Check your spelling.

The examples in your portfolio
all look very dark.
I'd like to see a bit more variety in
your work and a bit more color.

Variety, I can do that. I tend to naturally gravitate towards grey in my designs. I have to use grey in the DARC websites, though. Which brings us back to having more designs...

So I need to make some more websites and make them have more variety. Can do
