For the first time we are doing design and some SEO for a non English site, its the website of German stone mason Christoph Gabriel , you can find English summary of the site here.

We use a proprietary CMS application do develop the site, we welcome feedback on the site and what improvements can be made if any, feedback from German speakers especially welcomed just in case we committed a cultural blunder.

The color scheme is nice but I am a bit worried about the lack of contrast between text and background. Some people wont be able to read that.

Header is very plain looking.

I think you need some kind of heading on the sidebar.

No favicon.

The off page background is a bit stark. Consider adding
a bit more pizzaz there.

Technically its a bit of a mess.
You've got no DOCTYPE declaration (you do know why thats important right?).

For an international site (or any site really) your charset should be UTF8 otherwise you run the risk of mojibake.

Tables! yeck.

And if you are a serious SEO professional you must know how to do .htaccess mod rewrites to preserve the cannonical URL.
