Website Review and Suggestions

We recently had to change our company name - therefore we decided it was best to re-vamp our entire site.
Although it's still being tweaked (image load times) there is enough for public view.

Hope some people find enjoyment out of it.

A few things:
A little too much contrast. Too many colors. Try to keep the headers to the same color. Any image with a white background that looks like a square - take out the white and make it blend into the page. Center the menu on the top.

Changing your company name is always a challenge to do. I'm not sure what your website looked before this but the current design is extremely dark. To me its to dark to be professional. I think the having the background gradient fade into a different shade of blue rather then black it will brighten up the website and make it not feel so dark. Just a suggestion but overall it looks great. Great Job!

I've never seen a company need to spell their name phonetically in the logo before! You probably should have picked a different one.

I like the background gradient.

Would be better if the main nav options were closer together to improve scannability.

There is a problem when I hover the menu option the pointer turns to a carrot.

I dont like the tri-color subheading theme. Somebody probably thought
it matches the color scheme. Actually it just confuses.
Also the subheaders seem out of scale. You should
google "Classic scale" or "Fibonacci scale".

below it a phone number

Yes, I know in Internet Explorer
you've got the Skype for IE add-on.
But I dont use IE and fewer and fewer other
people are too.

Twitter icon isnt clickable.

Footer looks unbalanced.

Lack of contrast, dark text on black background.

Thanks, but that's actually going to be in rotation with other photos using flash. It's there just because I thought it would be different - we haven't had anybody pronounce the name wrong or anything!

Believe it or not, Skype display function also works on FF - I'm not an IE fan either. Most people don't have skype highlighting, we know this but maybe I should make the skype icon a link for people who don't have skype?

Good helpful critiques - which helps considering we completely revamped the site in less than 2 days (thank god for CMS & CSS!) which means little things get overlooked.

Just so we are talking about the same thing,
in Internet explorer there is something called the Skype for IE Addon
that automatically converts what it sees as phone numbers into
clickable "Call button" skype links.

The issue here is that if people don't have this add-on all they see is the phone number in plain text. So putting it below a Skype icon is confusing.

From memory I think the Skype for IE add-on is installed automatically isnt it. I've heard there is a similar add-on for Firefox but its not a default.

If you ever find an easy way of disabling the Skype add-on within your code (for consistent appearance) please share

We overlooked something and had to change our name - it took quite some time to come up with a name that also had a domain available for it.

I personally thought it would be a clever thing to put dictionary phonetics "just because" but apparently people are taking it as if we're explaining how to say our name.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the name. After all, you make the name - the name doesn't make you.

I'm not keen on the multi-coloured H-tags. I think you should stick to one colour for that and probably use a different font.

Other than that, if I were a customer, I would definitely give you guys an enquiry.
