very nice and clean interface, this site has real potential.
You might want to add a forum to enrich your site and give the users a place to communicate with each other.
I agree, black background with bright text = bad. It also makes the user have a hard time to see what is a clickable link to another part of your site and what is just a advertisement.

Normally I'm not a big fan of darker websites but you did a great job (or whoever designed it). It's very clean, neat and professional; cant get much better then that Keep up the great work.
