Website Review and Suggestions

I'm webmaster of http://youstickit.com. I started building this webservice in 4 years ago.

Well l like the logo.
But I don't quite understand the purpose of the service?
I mean if I want to leave a message on
somebody's blog, isnt that what comments are for?

Need to work on your sales pitch I think.

Also you need to work on the fonts.
Looks like you havent put much thought into those.

I suggest you make the logo on your boards point to your home page.
You will get some heavy backlinks that way for free.

@TWD: yeah you are right, but young people still have guestbooks. But those are very boring imo.

What kind of content do I have to add? All the content is user generated.

Nice site, the example though has way too many stickits, also a demo video might be a good idea, also the site template is very bland.

Like the concept altogether though...

Overall: 7.5, I like the idea. Would be great for younger audience but as already said before a comments section is kind of the ‘norm’ for blogs, guest books, etc.

Appearance: Lots of white space, not a big fan of the font either, great logo, good layout, no use of background

Functionality: navigation and links work, fast load time. You might include a section on how to use it in addition to the demo. Something with tips, tricks, advanced options, etc.

Overall & Content: I get the purpose of the site but the appearance doesn’t match the idea. I would like to see more/better design of the webpage perhaps a background that matches the logo.

Technical: No typos and good grammar. You may want to expand on the explanation of the product.

Cool logo! Only thing I'd suggest is making the site look softer and by that I just mean the square edges on the main pages and the stick it's (I know the ones we love to stick on other peoples monitors when they are out to lunch are square - but I just feel it makes the site look a little "rigid" and formal. Where as the logo is great and informal just the thing for attracting young visitors. Could be worth looking for an investor as the idea of "stick one on me and I'll stick one on you" (tm?:-) as a slogan could get teenagers posting like crazy, with some proper PR this site could fly like twitter. PM me if you need a hand.

Great idea. Blend the background into the site using the same title format with sayings about the concept and use in a haphazard 'stickit style'. Move your ads away a bit. Text content could be a problem for search eng...add FAQ?

It has a very nice logo / header. I feel the rest of the website does not hold the same potential as the logo / header does. I think making the buttons more Web 2.0 (glossy) will help out and perhaps select a gradient background or picture background instead of the white to bring the website to life! Best of luck!
