Website Review and Suggestions

I just recently redesigned my site, http://www.4layouts.com and wanted some reviews from the community. I would appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

Not really a big fan of the gothic looking font.
Or the header either. It looks like an oil slick.

You've got a nice big call to action button which is good

Your main menu navigation is veeeery basic.
Just a list of unstyled hyperlinks.
If you are in the business of template design
you will need to do better than that.

"Welcome to ACME.com !"
Boy I feel all warm and fuzzy now.
Especially since the exclamation point
means you must be excited about my visit.
At best it is a waste of space that could have been used
to tell me about your service. At worst it just sounds fake.
Also, most companies stopped refering to themselves
by the URL address in around about 2001.

The buy/view/cart buttons need "cursor : pointer" settings.

Search box should be at the top. Not hidden in the footer.

Your templates are supposedly standards compliant.
But this site:

Hi,

Improve on the navigation, remove the shadow and the outerglow, its not looking professional at all. Anyone coming to your website to buy templates would think again because they would want your website to look good.

I guess the rest of the layout is kinda nice

. Just the search part coming in the buttom. Try adding that to the navigation bar after decreasing the size of the fonts

.

The layout of the website is ok, its just the colours that do not do it for me. The nav bar in my opinion needs to be changed to something more modern and stylish.

Hi,

Your designing looks ok but the navigation link color combination does not match with the designing. Need to improve in that area. Also make font size to 10 verdana.

The banner at the top looks a bit in your face and non professional needs improving imo

Same with buttons

Get rid of the shadowing of the link buttons

The layout of the website is generally good and easy readable.

Your site seem old, I think the color might add to that. Your title/tabs need to be clearer. You need to have a header who will be top of the line if you are providing layout.
The share this button is sandwiched, move it at least at the btm. Maybe put the search bar is usually at the top, check that.
Top Webmaster-Related Resources dont seem to fit in your home page, maybe rearange it differently.
You have lot of content which is very nice.

Top navigation would be more SEO friendly if it was text.
Also, don't like the top navigation font right now.

You could use a new banner, and don't use old english font on it.

You just need to fix it from the navigation up. Everything below the horizontal navigation is fine.
