Website Review and Suggestions

Hello everyone,

I recently launched a website offering online accounting services and would appreciate some constructive criticism. I'm not a programmer, so I'm sure there are at least a few coding errors and I haven't yet started on SEO.

In addition to critiques of the site's design, I'd appreciate feedback on the overall appeal to business owners and factors that might prevent them from using a service like ours.

The general concepts I'm trying to convey are quality, trust and value. The site needs to appeal to small business owners.

A few basic questions:

1.Would you consider using our service if you were looking for someone to do your accounting? If not, why not?

2.How is the content? Is it easy to read? Too wordy? Too technical? Boring to read?

3.How's the homepage layout? Is it cluttered with too much content? Is the color scheme okay?

Any suggestions on how to improve the design or copy would be appeciated.

Be tough, I can handle it!

I love the navigation...those menus are great....subtle animation....the structure is well put together and i like the clean ease of use.

A couple of things but not big ones:

- The copy for the detail pages is a bit plain, maybe make some more bullet points or change up the headings so it breaks up the page and makes it easier to scan.

- I personally would use a larger graphic for the top of the detail pages as well...but that's just my opinion...overall the content is great and the design is clean and concise...

I want to amend my statement...you use bullet points on some pages but they do not stand out...you should possibly make the actual bullet a different color or bold the text...it just seems to run all together...maybe make the bolded text a different color to make it pop....

Looks pretty good but
I think it needs more white space.

From a marketing perspective, a customer
testimonial story on the home page would
help make it more compelling.

Overall nice, professional looking.

I think you have a very nice, focussed site. Your services are well presented and it is easy to navigate the site. I am however not clear on whether your company can provide a complete accounting service for a manufacturing concern. If this is not your intention, then you should state the excluded industries in your services section.

Thanks for the helpful comments and suggestions. I plan to incorporate most of them into the site.

I've been getting a lot of comments that the original homepage was too packed with content. So I cleaned it up a bit. I'd appreciate your comments on the new one.

I would remove the "Features and Flexibility You'll appreciate" heading.
The content below is self explanatory.
Just axe the heading and it will help to make the design more organic
and less "boxy".

Looks pretty good though!
